1. Nature of the Platform

SurgeonNear is an online surgeon-discovery and health-information platform. It helps users find surgeons, learn about surgical procedures and request second opinions.

• →SurgeonNear does not provide online appointment booking.
• →SurgeonNear does not provide medical treatment, diagnosis or surgery.
• →SurgeonNear is not a hospital, clinic or healthcare provider.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform, or use it under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. No Medical Advice

All content on the Platform — including procedure pages, articles and surgeon profiles — is for general information only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified doctor before making any medical decision.

4. Surgeon Listings

• →Surgeon profiles are compiled from publicly available sources, submissions by surgeons/hospitals, and other information.
• →Listings are displayed for discovery purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, qualifications, registration status, availability or fees of any listed surgeon.
• →A listing on SurgeonNear is not an endorsement or recommendation.
• →Users are advised to independently verify the surgeon's credentials (including medical council registration) before consultation or treatment.

5. Second Opinion Service

Second opinions are provided by independent experts based on the information you submit. The opinion is advisory only and depends on the accuracy of the details shared. The final treatment decision remains between you and your treating doctor. The Second Opinion programme is overseen by our Medical Head, Dr. Chidambaram K.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• →Provide false, misleading or someone else's information
• →Post defamatory, abusive or unlawful content, including fake reviews
• →Copy, scrape or reproduce Platform content without written permission
• →Attempt to hack, disrupt or misuse the Platform
• →Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

7. Surgeon / Hospital Responsibilities

Surgeons and hospitals who submit or claim their profiles confirm that the information provided is accurate and lawful, and that they hold valid qualifications and registration as required by law. They may request correction or removal of their profile by writing to support@surgeonnear.in.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, text, graphics and software on the Platform are the property of Justbike Services Private Limited or its licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for:

• →Any outcome of treatment, surgery or consultation with any surgeon found through the Platform
• →Any loss arising from reliance on Platform content
• →Interruptions, errors or unavailability of the Platform
• →Any act or omission of surgeons, hospitals or third parties

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the Company against claims, losses or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the Platform for any user who violates these Terms, without prior notice.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ranchi, Jharkhand shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
